What's the difference between DEFY and DFY?

The DFY token is the inherent and primary native token of the DefySwap ecosystem. It will be the main focus and the main priority long term. That said, the DEFY token was created as a means to assist in the bridging of our original sister site and proving ground for the big DefySwap project stage. The DEFY token was originally whitelisted as a FTM version for our OGs from to join on us the next phase of our adventure!

This is 9 times out of 10 a slippage issue. Most likely you have your slippage set to low. Try setting your slippage to at least 5%. If you encounter the error again, things may be more volatile currently and 6-7% may serve you better.

Why Is 5-7% Slippage Necessary?

DFY is a taxed token at a rate of 4.9%. The reason for 4.9 is so you have a chance to trade with 5% slippage (4.9 to encompass the tax and 0.1 to encompass regular slippage). However, if times are more volatile it may require a higher slippage to process.

What Is Impermanent Loss?

If you’ve been involved with DeFi at all, you have almost certainly heard this term thrown around. Impermanent loss happens when the price of your tokens changes compared to when you originally deposited them in the pool. The larger the change is, the bigger the loss.
Impermanent loss happens when you provide liquidity to a liquidity pool, and the price of your deposited assets changes compared to when you deposited them. The bigger this change is, the more you are exposed to impermanent loss. In this case, the loss means less dollar value at the time of withdrawal than at the time of deposit.
Pools that contain assets that remain in a relatively small price range will be less exposed to impermanent loss. Stablecoins or different wrapped versions of a coin, for example, will stay in a relatively contained price range. In this case, there’s a smaller risk of impermanent loss for liquidity providers (LPs).

My Transaction Is Stuck As "Pending"

If hitting "cancel" in the "Activities" tap isn't working, you can try the below option. It basically overwrites the previous one with another buy using the same "nonce", which is like a file name: 1. On Metamask, click on the circle icon on the top right, and go to Settings > Advanced 2. Scroll down to find "Advanced gas control" and "Customize transaction nonce". and make sure they are both ON
3. Back in the main interface, find your target "pending" transaction in the "Activities". Take note of the "Nonce" number, we'll use this later to find the transaction again.
4. Make a new transaction to replace it, but this time with increased Gas Price to raise the probability of the transaction going through.
5. On the confirmation step, put in the Nonce number that you took good notes of in step 3, and hit Confirm
6. Your new transaction should be queued in the Activities
